Who am I?
Greetings, I'm Emily, a dedicated School Teacher hailing from Hampshire, I have just returned from living in the captivating land of Thailand for the last three years. While my job in education is a source of immense fulfillment, my heart beats for travel and exploration. Weekends and holidays often see me gallivanting to new horizons, and I've left my footprints in remarkable places like Israel, Jordan, Georgia, Uganda, Rwanda, Albania, and more. If you're curious about other destinations I've explored, don't hesitate to ask!
What is the Blog About?
It's an invitation to join me on a journey of wonder, adventure, and inspiration:
Travel: Travel alongside me as I revisit countries I've fallen in love with or embark on multi-day holidays. Expect valuable tips, recommendations for beautiful locations to explore, and candid advice on places to avoid or those that may not be worth the time.
Trips: Join me as I explore towns and cities for a day. I'll share ideas for must-see attractions and experiences, helping you make the most of your day trips.
Why am I Blogging?
Now, why am I sharing these adventures with you? There are a few reasons:
First and foremost, this blog is a creative outlet that brings me a profound sense of satisfaction and relaxation. Creativity has a way of enriching our lives, and I hope to bring a bit of that richness to yours.
Secondly, I frequently find myself browsing the web, searching for new places to visit, and delight in the planning process. I want to facilitate your exploration of the incredible country and world we live in. This blog is an opportunity for you to embark on journeys of your own.
Of course, the dream of traveling more is always there, and if this blog takes off and contributes a few pennies to the holiday fund, that would be a delightful bonus. Yet, I'm fully aware that the road to success in the blogging world is challenging, and this endeavour is primarily driven by the sheer joy of sharing my experiences.
As you explore these pages, I hope you find inspiration, useful information, and a sense of wanderlust.
